Cover from "la Baionnette", an early French satirical magazine popular with soldiers serving in WW1, enabling them to keep up with social and political events in Paris while they were at the Front.

This cover from June 1918 features a fabulous stylised fashion image which sits very comfortably with the hand lettering and the lovely faded quality of the newsprint. In spite of its age, it has a contemporary look which would fit well into a modern interior.
